Home and Horror Series Part 2: Memories

We had such a good Saturday yesterday and it took my mind off the frustration and mess of home repairs. You’ll read more about that horror story next week.

I sat through My Little Pony: The Movie with Jessa and actually enjoyed some of it. I slept late. Shopped some. Planted some pansies and had some junk food.

It was not my typical Saturday and getting away from the norm served me well.

I’m just doing a quick check-in with this post—thinking about the days that pass so quickly and the little moments that I take for granted. And even though the house is a mess from all the repairs and moved items. It’s still home.

The place where my girls took their first steps and fill our halls with laughter.

Is your home your haven? Are beautiful memories being made there? Even if you’re sitting in a bit of a mess as we are right now, I hope you are reminded today of the beauty that home and family can bring.
